Sprite found herself abandoned in Park West, Connecticut, in the fall of 2017. Lucky for her, an expert rescuer was able to get her to safety at Hopalong Hollow. Sprite’s story is unknown but her condition at rescue revealed a bun who had been a victim of outdoor predators. Large parts of her ears were gone, patches of fur were missing from mites, and she was severely malnourished.
With the help of expert hands at the Hollow, she was nursed back to health. Sprite now spends her time with her husbun Jack, lounging and being doted on by her wonderful human. Living her best life, but not without the occasional litterbox explosion and a nip to remind you whose in charge! Sprite’s Hare Salon is by appointment only.
